Open Letter to Our Customers Regarding Sodium Sulphate Supply in 2015

November 3, 2014

Dear Valued Customers:

Recent developments in the North American sodium sulfate market have impacted supply volumes for the remainder of 2014 and 2015 and have led to an increased early demand for our sodium sulfate production. Due to this, Saskatchewan Mining and Minerals Inc. (SMMI) is announcing, effective immediately, a $30USD-per-short-ton increase in both packaged and bulk deliveries of sodium sulfate on all volume that is currently not under contract for 2014 and 2015.

SMMI expects to be fully sold out of production through 2015.

While we are anticipating being sold out, we are still committed to you and to seeing that your needs are met as we work together through this market. To that end, we will focus on renewal business exclusively through November 17, 2014. Your service representative will be in touch with you very shortly to discuss your requirements for 2015 and to ensure that we lock in your volume.

SMMI will continue to supply to you the same service quality, product quality and attention that we always have and are looking forward to building on the relationships that we have forged through the years.

Should you have any questions, please message either me at rjmccann@saskmin.net, SMMI General Manager, Brent Avery at beavery@saskmin.net or your sales representative directly.

Yours truly,

Rodney J. McCann, President
